Pre-mixed overlays consist of just three products and those three products are the basis for every decorative concrete overlay, concrete repair and custom floor surface our systems create. They were created to take the guess work out of measuring various liquid resins, specific cement types and the ever confusing sand shape, sand size, sand composition requirements.

With Pre-mixed overlays, all that is required is the addition of clean water and mixed. That is it. And because all of the components are in dry form, additional components can be added to increase abrasion resistance such as microsilica, accelerated drying agents, water reducers and curing compounds which cannot be included in the old liquid + sand and cement mixes.

In the end, Pre-mixed overlays are much easier to use, save countless amounts of time which decreases labor, increase consistency and provide a much more durable, permanent overlay with much increased versatility.

The three products that make up the Pre-mixed overlays are as follows:

• THIN-FINISH™: For all skim coats, base coats, bond coats, splatter textures, knockdowns, broom finish, thin surface repair under 3/16" thick and skip trowel finishes (used with 50% MICRO-FINISH™)


• TEXTURE-PAVE™: Primarily used for thin stamped overlay application ranging from 1/4" to 3/8" thick. Also used for deep fill, patching and regrading at nearly any thickness.


• MICRO-FINISH™: Think of this product as more of a filler than an overlay. It is designed to simply fill in the void around the slight grain of sand left on THIN-FINISH™ and never to be applied at any measurable thickness or built up. This product creates a steel troweled finish to resemble that of new concrete or acid stained with CHEM-STONE™ Reactive Stain to create a beautiful interior floor.
